Our official ambassadors represent the inclusive hub and are able to discuss matters with anyone on our behalf.
They help raise awareness of what we do and promote the brand.
Community Ambassador & Project Lead
Wendy Haycock
Wendy brings many years of experience in education and community work to The Inclusive Hub. As our Community Ambassador and Project Lead, she plays a central role in developing and delivering programmes that support children, young people and families across Bootle.
Wendy leads our outreach workshops, coordinates half term activities and supports the delivery of Hub Club sessions. She is particularly passionate about empowering girls and creating safe spaces where young people can build confidence and develop new skills.
Her energy, experience and commitment help ensure the Hub continues to reach those who need it most, both within our building and out in the wider community.
Family Engagement Ambassador
Julie Mangan
Julie Mangan has been part of The Inclusive Hub since the early days, first attending sessions with her son Alexander. Over time, she has become a trusted and valued member of our community.
As a parent of a young adult with additional needs, Julie understands the challenges families face when finding the right support. In her role as Family Engagement Ambassador, she supports like minded parents, welcomes new families and helps ensure the parent voice continues to shape the Hub.
The Inclusive Hub has always been built by families, for families, and Julie’s role reflects that commitment.
Wellbeing Ambassador
Bill Moran
Bill brings lived experience, resilience and heart to The Inclusive Hub. Diagnosed with polio as a child, his own journey allows him to connect with and mentor children and young people facing their own challenges.
Alongside his therapy dog Felix, Bill supports some of our more complex participants, offering a calm and reassuring presence within sessions.
Bill also has strong connections within the boxing community and continues to champion the Hub beyond our walls, helping raise awareness and support for the work we do.
